CALHOUN MAN INJURED NEAR SPENCER - Two Vehicle Collision On Bower's HIll

A car-truck accident on Bower's Hill at Carpenter's General Store sent Mt. Zion resident Jasson Rider to Roane General Hospital. Emergency services responded to the scene on Bower's Hill (U.S. 33-119), just east of Spencer, about 6:30 p.m. Rider was treated for head injuries and released. Adam Stump of Grantsville, a passenger in the Rider vehicle was uninjured. The driver of the truck, which a spectator said was attempting to pass, crashed into the Rider vehicle, which was a total loss. The female driver of the truck was not injured.
