A Tanner, Gilmer County man has been arrested by the Sheriff's Department after he fired a gun at Tallies Duck Bar in Normantown, according to a criminal complaint.
David Curry, 49, has been charged with three counts of wanton endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon without a license, DUI, brandishing a weapon and driving on a suspended license, according to the Sheriff's Department.
A Gilmer deputy responded to a gunshot complaint and discovered a man driving a yellow ATV, who was identified as Curry.
Curry admitted that he had been drinking and had approximately "two or three six packs of beer that night", according to the criminal complaint.
Curry was taken to Central Regional Jail.
