| The Grantsville Guppies 4-H Club has been holding monthly meetings on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Refreshments are provided and served by members prior to the meeting.
The meetings are called to order by the President, Eric Watkins. He gives a monthly theme, which covers the holiday or season of the year.
Members take turns leading the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H Pledge at each meeting. We hold a business meeting and are learning to make motions and how to conduct a proper meeting.
We have done various projects this year and are continuing working on these. One of these projects is collecting plastic bottles and jugs for recycling. We have held poster and project workshops. We have raised funds with a hot dog/bake sale, sold tickets for a quilt, the winner was Mike Ritchie, and sold tickets for a $50.00 drawing and the winner was Brenda Miller. We will be having a car wash on Saturday, June 9, at the Grantsville Foodland.
Some of the members are planning to attend County 4-H Camp in June and are working hard to raise funds.
We have 17 members, Steven Campbell, Terra Lloyd, Haley Wilson, Emily Sears, Shaylah Wilson, Ethyn Miller, Jesse Kargol, James Jones, Aaron West, Adrea Peggs, John Watkins, Ethan and Shania Fischer, Jasmine Nicholson, Ray Hardman, Eric and Mark Watkins.
