Fire officials are investigating the cause of a house fire on Newark Road in Wirt County late Monday night.
No one was injured, but the dwelling was a total loss.
Firefighters from the Elizabeth-Wirt VFD, the Eastwood VFD, the Wirt County Emergency Squad, the WV State
Police, Wirt County Sheriff's Office, and Wirt County Office of
Emergency Services responded to the call.
