Kevin James Clowser age 40 of Ash Road, Cedarville West Virginia, peacefully passed from this life at 12:30 a.m., Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown West Virginia.
Born August 14, 1971 in Gassaway, Braxton County, he was the son of Jimmie and Kay Chenney Clowser of Cedarville.
Kevin was an employee of Frame Oil as a mechanic and including Frame Oil he spent 22 years in the oil fields. Kevin enjoyed 4 wheeler riding, fishing, playing strategy games, swimming, working the family farm, and spending time with family and friends.
On December 4, 1999 he was united in marriage to Michelle Kirkpatrick Clowser, she and Kevin were proud that they had been together 20 years, having dated 8 before they married.
One son survives, Nicholas Andrew Clowser who lives at home; one sister, Kristi Clowser of Cedarville; one half sister, Jackie Zitzman of Issue Maryland.
Kevin was the paternal grandson of the late Boyd and Nell Clowser, and maternal grandson of John and Lois Chenney.
A memorial tribute service of Kevin's life to be filled with laughter, tears, and expressions of love will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. at 12:30 p.m., Saturday June 9, 2012. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to visit and remember. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Glenville 1st Baptist Church Cancer Fund.
