Ronald Starcher, 55, of Fairbury, Illinois, passed away at 10:11 p.m., May 30, 2012 at OSF St. James-John Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
A memorial service was held Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Daryl Evans officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Ronald was born June 5, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Denzil and Norma (Hall) Starcher. They survive in Painesville, OH.
Also surviving are his son Jason Starcher of Ellsworth; daughter, Kristin (Joseph) Beck of Fairbury; grandchildren, Jacie Martin, Rachael Vieira, Zoie Eulitt, Kinlee Steffen, and Baby Beck due in July; special companion, Nan Hibsch, one brother, Steve (Stacy) Starcher and one sister Sharon (Terry) Shaw both of Mentor, OH.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Kessler and Velta Sampson Starcher of Jesse Run, Calhoun County, WV and Lee and Ocie Bailey Hall of Beech, Calhoun County, WV.
Ronald worked at Caterpillar in Pontiac for 35 years. He was a member of the Men's Auxiliary of the Fairbury VFW.
