| Geraldine G. Tingler, 89, of Big Springs WV, passed away May 20, 2012 at Eagle Point Care Center in Parkersburg.
Born at Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late Arlen and Susie Bennett Smith. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church at Big Springs and was a former employee of the Calhoun Super Service.
Surviving are her children, Paul Delmas Tingler, II (Emogene) of Williamstown, Joseph Tingler (Sheila) of Big Springs and Richard Lee Tingler (Sheri) of Lowell, Ohio. 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tingler and five sisters, Dorothy Carpenter, Katherine Moss and three infant sisters and a brother Roy A. Smith.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Jim Lough will officiate. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Grantsville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the services.
