| Linda Kay James Ellyson, age 59, of Fairground Rd, Glenville, WV formerly of Weston WV, departed this life at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Glenville Care & Rehab Center, following an extended illness.
She was born September 8, 1952 at Burnsville, Braxton County WV, a daughter of the late Freddie G. and Geneva M. Snyder James.
Linda was a former employee of Minnich Florist, Weston; Dept of Human Resources and was secretary/receptionist for WHAW Radio Station in Weston for over 15 years. She was a member of the Weston Assembly of God Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Julie R. Chapman and husband Duane of Glenville and one grandson, Jacob Chapman at home.
One sister and one brother survive, Patty Belt Collins and husband Harley of Weston and Carl James and wife Carolyn of Jane Lew. Several nieces and nephews survive.
Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Donnie James and one sister, Nina Ware.
Funeral services will be conducted at Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Peterson Cemetery, Weston. Friends may call 1-3 p.m., Tuesday at the Mortuary.
