The Minnie Hamilton Chaplains Association, with the assistance of the First Baptist Church, will host a checkpoint for the May 19th motorcycle benefit run to provide assistance to the DAV Chapter 32 food band and the Grantsville food pantry.
Chapter 32 of the Disabled American Veterans will be riding a circuit beginning and ending at the Murphytown UMC in Wood County this Saturday. The first stop on their ride is here in Grantsville and the First Baptist Church has offered their facility to provide it.
The Chaplains Association will be serving biscuits and gravy to the riders as well as the public here in Calhoun County. All proceeds, by donation only, collected in Grantsville will go to our local food pantry.
Stop by and enjoy, take out orders will be filled also, and help support the efforts of DAV Chapter 32 and the MHHS Chaplains.
