CHRIS COX FACING SECOND MURDER CHARGE OVER INMATE DEATH - Roane-Calhoun Man Killed Letherbark Man In 2004

Christopher Cox, 26, a former Roane-Calhoun man, is facing a second murder charge.

Cox, an inmate at the Mount Olive State Prison in Fayette County, has been indicted by a Fayette County grand jury.

He got into a fight with fellow inmate Joseph Braddock, 30, of Morgantown, last year. Braddock died from the injuries he suffered in the altercation.

Cox was serving a 10-year sentence for one felony count of second-degree murder and one count of second-degree robbery, related to the stabbing and shooting of 49-year-old Russell Metz of Letherbark, Calhoun County, on August 4, 2004.
