Glen Cottrell 74 of Stumptown, WV, died June 30 at his home following an extended illness.
Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Jack and Lona Bell Dobbins Cottrell. He was
a former employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways and was a pipeline
construction worker.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Cottrell and daughter, Mary Sue Cottrell of Stumptown; brother,
Emory Cottrell of Spencer, WV and sister, Gladys Craddock of Leatherbark Community,
Arnoldsburg, WV.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Ferrell, Clyde and Ronzel Cottrell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3 at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg. Reverend Clarence McKown will officiate. Interment will be in the Metz Cemetery
at Sand Ridge, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
