Elma Willadene Moyers, 74 of Frametown, West Virginia, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven May 7, 2012. She passed away while at home with her family.
She was born October 17, 1937 on Cub Fork, Gilmer County and was a daughter of the late
Ray and Floda White. Willadene was a Christian by faith who dedicated her life to the care and uplifting of her family, her friends and her church, the Crooked Fork Baptist Church at Perkins.
Surviving are her husband of 56 ½ years, Nolan Moyers; her children, Sheila (Kelby) Moore of Worthington OH, Nolan E. (Christel) Moyers, Jr. of Birch River WV, Donald R. Moyers, Bernard (Mary) Moyers both of Frametown, and Brenda (Mark) Davis of Buckhannon WV; siblings, Treva (John) Berry of Sutton WV, Kenneth White of Cedarville WV, Fay (Wilbur) Marks of Little Hocking OH, June (Charles) Shaffer of Stowe OH, Kay (Doug) Henline of Normantown WV, Nina (Gene) Stump of Flushing MI, Dana (Caren) White of Stumptown WV, Marjorie Born of Elyria OH, Austin (Gerry) White of Gassaway WV, Connie (Gary) Gainer of Weston WV and Joyce (Larry) Fisher of Perkins WV; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister-in-law, Louise White and a brother-in-law Al Born.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 10, 2012 at the Crooked Fork Baptist Church at Perkins. Elder George Rose, Elder Roger Stewart and Elder Austin White will officiate. Interment will be in the Moyers Family Cemetery at Frametown. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
