Georgia Doris Weaver passed away May 7, 2012 at Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville.
She was born May 24, 1925 in Clay County, WV to the late Fredrick A. and Flora Rollyson Rogers.
She was employed for several years by Rubber Fabricators, Inc. and the Cain Veterinary Clinic. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Methodist Church and the Cremo Community Church.
Georgia was preceded in death by husbands, Rufus Stemple and Gifford Weaver.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Stemple (Daryl) Kelly; granddaughters, Colleen (Kent) Martini and Erin (Warren) Simpson; great grandchildren, Colin, Kasey, Svea and Karis; stepson, Robert (Dianne) Weaver; and her beloved dog, Cupcake.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 11 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bryner Chapel Cemetery at Joker, WV.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Minnie Hamilton's Long Term Care Unit.
