| It's time for folks to head to the woods in search of one of the earth's great delicacies, the Morel Mushroom.
Forester Russ Richardson says if you've been having a hard time finding morels, check those old pear trees.
"Often, many local people head out to abandoned apple orchards looking for morels when they might have a decent mess as close as their local pear tree," he said, but then they sprout all over the Calhoun forest.
