| The first ever Ritchie County Genealogy & History Fair will be today at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Ritchie County High/Middle School Commons Area.
Vendors will be selling genealogy and history books, maps and other items. Admission is free and a concession stand will be available.
Vendors slated to participate include: Calhoun County Historical & Genealogical Society; Doddridge County Historical Society; Gilmer County Historical Society; Hackers Creek Pioneer Descendants (Lewis County); Harrison County Genealogical Society
Also, Marion County Historical Society; Ritchie County Historical Society; Roane County Historical Society; Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike Alliance; Upshur County Historical Society; Genealogy by David Boggs; Genealogy by Lockhart; and Mountain Heritage Books.
