A WOMAN PROBLEM - Charleston police have arrested 50-year-old Tony Holcomb of Charleston after he stabbed 55-year-old Gary Kirk in the neck and upper body several times at an apartment Sunday night.
Police say the stabbing was over a woman, with Kirk being rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery.
Holcomb returned to the apartment to steal items from the dwelling.
He is facing burglary and malicious wounding charges.
MAN WITH GUN IN DISPUTE - A domestic disturbance turned into a drug and weapons bust in St. Albans, when a bike patrol seeing a woman and a man arguing in the middle the street.
Police say they found a loaded Smith and Wesson hidden in Jameson Edwards' waistband and had more than a dozen Xanax and Lortab pills on his person.
Edwards did not have a permit for the gun. He was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possession of controlled substances.
