Glenville, WV - Glenville State College Theatre's final show of the season will be 'Parallel Lives' on April 18th, 19th, and 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the GSC Administration Building Presidents Auditorium. The play is a sketch comedy piece with a twist written by Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney about women and the world around them.
"GSC Theatre is made up of members of the GSC community who like to act in plays. We follow an open audition/open work policy, so all roles and jobs are available to anyone who has the time and desire to make a performance a reality," said GSC Theatre Director Dennis Wemm.
The ensemble cast of 'Parallel Lives' includes Brittany Ferguson (a GSC sophomore Forest Technology major from Glenville, West Virginia in Gilmer County), Rose Johnson (a GSC senior psychology and Sociology Major from Glen, West Virginia in Clay County), Ryan Konarske (a GSC junior English major from Gandeeville, West Virginia in Roane County), Lois Miller (GSC Dining Services Office Manager and GSC alum '83 who resides in Glenville, West Virginia in Gilmer County), and Samantha Wolford (a GSC sophomore Education Math 5-Adult major from Buckhannon, West Virginia in Upshur County). Each actress plays several roles in the play's thirteen scenes.
Wemm says the play may not be suitable for children due to some adult situations. General admission is $3.00, and GSC students with IDs get in for free. For more information, email Wemm at Dennis.Wemm@glenville.edu or call (304)462-6323.
