Former assistant Calhoun High School football coach Paul Goodrich, Jr., 48, who had been issued felony charges related to manufacturing marijuana with intent to deliver, appeared for hearings Friday and Monday in Calhoun Magistrate Court.
Calhoun prosecutor Rocky Holmes has continued Goodrich's case to April 5th to allow negotiations for a plea deal.
While the criminal complaint says Goodrich had more than 15 grams of marijuana, a felony, that may not be the case.
Goodrich is represented by attorney Loren Howley.
Goodrich was arrested the same night his son, Paul Goodrich III was arrested for manufacturing meth.
