Gerry Wallace of Grantsville, lost control of her vehicle on Russett Road (Rt. 7) mid-afternoon Thursday and went over the hillside.
Wallace, who reportedly 'passed out' was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS for evaluation, suffering from bruises and a cut on the hand.
The car almost went into the Little Kanawha River.
The Grantsville VFD also responded to the incident, in addition to the State Police and the Calhoun Sheriff's Department.
