| Albert J. Ball, 83 of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away March 2, 2012 at Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville.
He was born June 5, 1928 in Calhoun County, a son of the late Jasper and Olive Johnson Ball.
He was retired from the Hertz Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio and was well known for the Beagle dogs he raised and trained.
Surviving are his wife, Greta Ball and two daughters, Jeanette Tingler of Big Springs and Lou Ann (Don) Surber of Poca WV; one son, Rodney Ball (Sandra) pf Bale NC; a brother, Denzil (Ada) Ball of Big Bend WV; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-noon Tuesday until the time of services. |
