A tornado watch has been issued for Calhoun and regional counties by the NWS.
The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. tonight.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
A Flash Flood Warning (more severe than a watch) has been issued for Calhoun (radar at 2 p.m. indicates severe weather coming over northern Calhoun), Gilmer, Braxton, Ritchie and other regional counties until 7:30 p.m. tonight.
A watch is in effect until 10 p.m.
