Brenda Joyce Williams, 63, of LeRoy, West Virginia, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, in CAMC - General Hospital, Charleston.
She was born February 14, 1949, in Catlettsburg, Boyd County, KY, a daughter of the late Ivel and June Perry Boyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Boyd and three nieces.
Brenda was a loving wife and mother to all. She was a member of the Church of the Living God, Spencer.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Ernest Williams; two sons, Richard Todd Williams of Sandyville and Russell Eric Williams of Spencer; four sisters, Bonnie Bowen of Reedy, Judy Bing of Rittman, OH, Lynn Boyd of Spencer and Carolyn Short of Sandyville; two brothers, Ron Boyd and Ron Boyd both of Parkersburg; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Young Cemetery, Linden. Friends may call Monday from 6-9 pm at the funeral home and Tuesday one hour before the funeral.
