Grantsville Mayor Curtis Garretson has called for a meeting of the town's council today at 7 p.m. to further deal with the future of property owned by the town, locally called "the pit."
The property, the site of the former town hall, has long been the subject of contention regarding its disposition.
Garretson has called for the council to make
decisions about which direction the town should go regarding the property, described by some residents as the most valuable property in the town.
A number of proposals for its disposition have been shot down over the years, with the property frequently described as an eyesore. |
