Police in Logan County are investigating a triple homicide near Chapmanville Sunday morning. Police say they found the bodies of two men and a woman in a house, shot to death. They have been identified as husband and wife, Eddie and Michelle Bell, along with Paul Jarrel. Authorities think the murders are drug-related. They say a person of interest, 34-year-old Trevor Tomblin of the Chapmanville area was in a car accident following the shootings and has died. Prescription pills, cash and a gun were found inside the truck, according to police who later discovered that the truck belonged to one of the victim's. HUNTINGTON STAND-OFF - A Huntington man is facing charges following a standoff with police. Terry Garner was arrested after midnight Sunday after he lead officers on a chase. Officers say Garner stopped several times during the chase, but took off, but when he finally pulled over he threatened to kill himself. Garner pulled out a knife and made a small cut to his throat. After several failed attempts to talk him down, officers say they shot him twice with a bean bag gun. He was arrested and charged with fleeing, concealing a deadly weapon, brandishing and obstructing. Garner also admitted to being under the influence of cocaine. He was taken to a hospital, prior to being taken to jail.
