Delbert Lee "Dock" King, 89, of Orma, West Virginia, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at home, after a brief illness.
He was born May 1, 1922, at Orma, a son of the late Dwight and Mary E. Parsons King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel B. Dickey King.
Dock was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Cary White of Leroy WV, Audra and Ed Marks of Orma, and Sherry Patterson also of Orma; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Elmer "Westfall" King of Big Bend WV.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 10 at 11:30 a.m. in the Orma United Methodist Church, Orma, with Pastor Tom Law officiating. Burial will be in the Orma UMC Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 11 - 11:30 a.m. at the church.
