An altercation on a Calhoun school bus coming from Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center ended with at least one of the male subjects going to Minnie Hamilton Health System for treatment.
The fight between the students happened at the end of the school day, the incident was reportedly caught on the bus surveillance camera.
Calhoun Superintendent of Schools Roger Propst said, "School administration has taken immediate student discipline actions involving a student involved in the incident."
The State Police reportedly went to Minnie Hamilton to investigate the matter Tuesday evening.
"Law Enforcement is involved and actively investigating," said Propst.
"Video from the bus is being reviewed, and I am awaiting a report detailing the entire incident," he continued.
The extent of the injuries from the fight are not known.
