Nora M. Rogers, 69, of Spencer, West Virginia, died at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at home, after an extended illness.
She was born November 19, 1942 at Wallback, a daughter of the late William Riley and Maggie Rae Runnion Mullins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Rogers; a brother, William F. "Buck" Mullins; a sister, Effie Marie Martin.
Nora was a retired psychiatric aid at Spencer Hospital.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Lana, Jerry and Peggy, Billy and April Rogers all of Spencer, Tracy and Amy Rogers of Left Hand; two sisters, Annettia Hughes of Spencer and Georgia Godbey of Clio; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Homer Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
