Gas prices are still on the upswing in West Virginia.
The Triple A's weekly look at gas prices found the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded fuel in WV costs $3.51, up 3.7 cents from a week ago.
But West Virginia's pump prices are more than a nickel higher than the U.S. average and up by nearly 40 cents over the per-gallon cost of Feb. 1, 2011, in the state.
Across the state, gas prices range from a low of $3.40 to $3.65 a gallon.
