Alma G. Ward, 77, of Grantsville, WV died June 11, 2002 at Camden Clark Hospital in
Parkersburg. She was the widow of the late Bryan Ward, a former Calhoun Sheriff and
Grantsville Police Chief.
She was the daughter of the late Andy and Josie Stutler Craddock.
She was employed as a cook at the former Calhoun General Hospital for 19 years, and
was a foster grandparent at Brooksville Grade School and Pleasant Hill Elementary
School.
She is survived by a sister, Cozetta Smith of Grantsville; a nephew, Albert (Bim) Smith
of Grantsville; nieces, Mary Ball of Grantsville and Lillie Smith of Parkersburg, WV.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Bryan Ward and a sister, Ann Craddock.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Stump Funeral Home in
Grantsville with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating, with burial in the St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 14.
