Jeffery D. Carpenter, 46, of Millstone, WV died Saturday, February
10th. at his home.
Born at Barberton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Roscoe and Madeline
Maffet Carpenter. He
was a former employee of south Charleston Stamping and Manufacturing
and Mayflower
Vehicle Systems. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 3399 of Charleston.
He was also a
founding member of the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department and EMS
and was a member of
Bassmasters.
Mr. Carpenter is survived by two sons, Mitch Carpenter of Clarksburg,
WV and Roger
Carpenter of Ripley, WV. Also surviving are his ex-wife, Geneva
Carpenter of Millstone and a
grandson, Austen Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Judy Filliez
and Janet
McNamara.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Stump Funeral
Home, Arnoldsburg, WV.
Rev. Roger Carter and Joe Phillips will officiate. Interment will be
in the Sycamore Church
Cemetery, Millstone. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8
p.m. Monday and one hour
prior to the services Tuesday.
