| Joyce Loretta Ganley, 69, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Friday, January 13, 2012, at 1:42 a.m., at home after an extended illness.
She was born December 3, 1942, in Riverdale, MD, a daughter of the late Walter Henry and Mary Irene Prosser Hansen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Mary Hansen in 2005.
Survivors include her husband, William Robert "Bill" Ganley, Sr. of Spencer; children, William Robert "Billy" Ganley, Jr. of Greensboro, MD, Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Ganley Dumhart of Lusby, MD, Joyce Lynn Ganley Fix Wood of Laurel, MD, Henry Hansen Ganley also of Laurel, MD, James Morgan "Jimmy" Ganley, Sr. of Spencer and Elizabeth Anne Ganley Metz also of Spencer; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Ganley Family Cemetery, Spencer, with the Rev. Jake Hersman officiating.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
