Susie Alice Cook, 73, of Pinch, West Virginia, died Friday, January 6, 2012, in the CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston, after an extended illness.
She was born June 13, 1938 at Looneyville, a daughter of the late Silas E. and Jessie W. Campbell Monroe.
She was a homemaker and mother. Also, she was a long time member of the Epling Chapel Baptist Church, Looneyville.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Lowell Ray Cook; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Ida Cook of Pinch; grandson, Nathaniel "Nate" Cook of Pinch; brother and sister-in-law, Grover and Marylea Monroe of Cleveland, OH; sister, Janet Jewell Skipper of Somerset, KY.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Epling Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ronald Fisher officiating. Burial will be in the Epling Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday, from 3:30- 5:30 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
