Edward "Ed" Stuckwish, 84, of Mt. Zion, West Virginia formerly of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, departed this life December 23, 2011.
He was born at Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Frank and Agnus Gronan Stuckwish.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Irene Marie Stuckwish of Mt. Zion; sister, Clara (Paul) Besong of Leetsdale; daughter, Sherry (Chuck) Yamchuk of Mt. Zion; grandchildren, Charlie (Amy) Yamchuk of Northeast MD, Ira (Jennifer) Yamchuk of Lancaster PA, Samantha (Michal) Cowan of Big Springs WV, Tamara (Steven) Liles of Raleigh NC, Robert Bucek of Jacksonville NC; great grandchildren, Kylie, Ryan and Easton Yamchuk, Jacob and Zoe Yamchuk, Mickaylee Cowen, Cameron, Nicholas, Kate Liles, Megan and Kennedy Bucek.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Edward A. Stuckwish; and brothers, George, Albert, and Babe Stuckwish.
The family would like to thank everyone that has been there throughout the past year of Ed's illness. To all those who came to visit, call, asked and checked-up on him and the family. We can't thank you enough. He was one of a kind and touched the lives of many.
He will be brought home to rest. There will be no public service.
