| More than $8 million in new federal heating assistance dollars is coming to West Virginia residents.
The $8.2 million program through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program will extend a hand to the state's most vulnerable households and help keep the heat on during the winter.
The funding is in addition to $14 million allocated in October.
