| Catherine Williams age 79 of River St., Glenville West Virginia, departed this life at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport following an extended illness.
Born March 15, 1932 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late Ray and Melva Danley Luzader.
Catherine was a graduate of Glenville High School, obtained her BA degree in social work from Glenville State College, and her masters in social work at WVU. She retired from the Veterans Administration as a master social worker, after 16 years in Beckley Regional office. Her field was social work which she held other positions both in Ohio and West Virginia. She was a reader, but after retirement she became an avid reader, she loved it. Catherine was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple in Canton Ohio.
She was first married to Lester M. Marks who preceded her in death in 1983. She later married Russell Williams who also preceded her in death.
One son survives, Don Marks of Glenville; 4 grandchildren, Michael Marks, Eric Marks, Heather Black, and Leslie Brock; 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Carl J. Luzader of Sand Fork and Tom J. Luzader of Glenville.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by 1 son, David Marks and 7 siblings.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville WV., at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 17, 2011 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Mortuary.
