Letters of Inquiry will be accepted until 3 p.m. on January 11, 2012. The Letter of Inquiry is now a savable PDF form that can be filled out, saved, and emailed to rsteffen@ssjcharitablefund.org
The Grant Process 2012: A Guide for Applicants document on the website includes an overview of the grants process as well as important updates to the priority areas which now include Oral Health, Healthy Lifestyles, and Health Equity. The SSCJF continues to focus on health and wellness needs in the area.
To be eligible for consideration, the organization must be a nonprofit or public agency with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status (or community-based group sponsored by such an agency). The project or proposal must directly and clearly relate to health and wellness, address one of three priority areas (Oral Health, Healthy Lifestyles, or Health Equity), and benefit the residents of one or more of the following counties: Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler, Wood, Wirt, and Roane in West Virginia, and Athens, Meigs, and Washington in Ohio.
