| Carl A. Harris, 74 of Mt Zion, West Virginia, died Saturday November 26, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Harris was born in Calhoun County on McCune's Run. He was the son of the late Wesley and Vina Marks Harris. He was a timber man and avid horseman.
Surviving are his children, Carlene Dunmore of Pleasant Garden, NC, Otis (Jackie) Harris of Stumptown, James Harris of Mt Zion, Kenneth (Cheryl) Harris of Evans, Jason Harris of the home, and his long time friend and companion Sharon K. Hutchison of Elizabeth; two brothers, Donald (Helen) Harris and Chester Harris; five sisters, Juanita Cottrill, Gereldine Parsons, Evelyn Roberts, Hester Brant, Ruth Parsons; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty I. Deuley Harris.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 30 at the Stump Funeral home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. Mike Worf will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
