Wanda L. Jones, 86 of Kirkland, Illinois died Friday, November 25, 2011 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford.
She was born December 28, 1924 in West Virginia. The daughter of William C. and Melissa (Callow) Roberts. She was married to Lewis G. Jones.
Wanda worked for Falls Products and Greenlee Textron in Genoa, retiring after many years of service. She loved to be with her family and prepare a delicious dinner on the holidays. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going out for a nice meal with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Jones of Kirkland; one son, Lewis E. (Patricia) Jones; two daughters, Wanda Brown and Peggy Vance, all of Kirkland; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several step-brothers.
