| Hencel J. Vanhorn, 81, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away November 21, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Gilmer County, a son of the late Ted and Tressie Nicholas Vanhorn.
He was a carpenter and a US Army veteran and attended the Millstone Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Jarvis Vanhorn; two children, Connie Starcher of Chloe WV and Richard Vanhorn of Grantsville; a sister, Delma Thompson of Parkersburg WV; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg. Evangelist Gene Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the Minnora Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-noon until time of services Friday.
