| Water is rising in the region after two days of consistent rain.
The Spencer-Roane VFD responded at 11:30 Tuesday to the Alvord/Front Street section where an elderly woman needed to be rescued from her vehicle because of high water.
She was pulled from the vehicle and was being checked by medical personnel.
A hunter was injured Tuesday morning when his tree stand failed. He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System. A DNR officer was responding to investigate the incident as a hunting accident.
