DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS SUNDAY - Replace Batteries In Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors

(11/01/2014)
It's time once again to turn clocks back one hour.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 2.

Over the years fire departments have encouraged people to change the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when they change their clocks, twice a year.

It's a good habit to practice.

Working detectors more than double the chances of surviving a fire or carbon monoxide poisoning, but only if batteries are fresh and working properly.
