Harrisville is getting an $80,000 sidewalks improvement grant.
Over 4 million dollars worth of federal funds have been awarded to 27 projects in WV by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin.
The grants are part of the 2011 Transportation Enhancement grant program.
The program provides annual funding to improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists through the construction of sidewalks and trails.
