If you came to Grantsville Saturday, you might have thought your eyes were playing tricks on you. If you thought you were seeing pink, you were.
There was 300 feet of bras, not all pink, strung across the Bernard Bell Bridge to promote October as Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Lori Fleagle, Jean Simers and Carol Sloane began putting up the bras at 7:00 a.m. taking approximately one and a half hours to complete the task.
There was also a Women's Health Fair sponsored by Minnie Hamilton and the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
Both events promoted women's health and the importance of all women getting their yearly check-ups. If you would like to schedule a mammogram or a check up, call Minnie Hamilton Health System at 304-354-9244.
