| HUNTINGTON MURDER - A Huntington man has been arrested after a double shooting that left one man dead and another man in the hospital.
Authorities say Kawan Wells shot and killed Dekeil Lockart in the parking lot of the Last Chance Bar and Grill on Route 60 in Huntington during the early morning hours Sunday.
Wells has been charged with 1st degree murder.
A second person, Dean Drew Fizer III was shot in the leg.
MACHETE INCIDENT - One man has been arrested in Marion County for allegedly going after another man with a machete.
Deputies said Luther William Goudy got into a fight with a man Friday night. After the fight, Goudy left the area, and came back with a machete.
Deputies said he then chased the man with the weapon.
They say the man grabbed the machete, with Goudy suffering a cut to the hand.
He has been charged with malicious assault and wounding.
VERIZON HOLD-UP - A person armed with a gun attempted to rob a Verizon Wireless store in Hurricane, Putnam County, Friday night.
Details about the incident are not available.
