The West Virginia Association of Retired School Employees (WVARSE) held its "Fifty-Fourth Leadership Conference" August 31st through September 1st at Days Hotel in Flatwoods, West Virginia.
Willadene Poling, President of Calhoun County WVARSE, was elected and installed as Director of the State's Region III, which is comprised of Boone, Calhoun, Clay, Jackson, Kanawha, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt and Wood Counties.
She will serve a two year term.
The West Virginia Association of Retired School Employees is the primary voice for retired professional educators, school administrators and service personnel, and currently consists of over 7,500 members.
