| The WV Black Walnut Festival in Spencer was marred by a former Roane County man posting threats to kill school teachers who were serving as parade marshals at this years event.
Roy Eugene Woods II, 31, of Seneca Rocks, was arrested and charged with making terrorists threats, according to Spencer Newspapers.
The threats had been posted on Facebook, indicating Woods intended to take a rifle with a scope on a hill above the festival parade, take aim at teachers and start firing, according to the newspaper report.
Woods was arraigned in Roane County this week. |
