| A Roane County man was chopping wood when a tree came down on him, according to Roane County dispatchers.
The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Clay Road, State Rt. 36.
Responders indicated he was seriously injured.
Roane County emergency services responded to the scene, and the man was taken by chopper to a Charleston hospital.
