New River Gorge Bridge Day is the Mountain State's premier one day festival.
The 32nd Annual Bridge Day Festival is Saturday, October 15.
The festival, the state's largest, is all about living.
The New River Gorge is one of the world's oldest places, and BASE jumping is one of the world's cutting edge sports.
Above the famous white water rafting on the New River, jumpers, rappellers, and thousands and thousands of onlookers gather for the state's biggest party of the year.
Sometimes well over 100,000 attend the event.
Construction of the nearly $37 million New River Gorge Bridge turned a 45-minute journey along narrow roads that snaked up and down the gorge into a trip of about one minute.
