Calhoun County Red Devil Marching Band

The Calhoun County Red Devil Marching Band traveled to Ripley to compete in the Ripley Viking Fest on Oct 8th and walked away with four awards including 3rd place for majorettes, 3rd place for flag corps, 4th place for percussion and 4th place for band overall in their class.
Stephanie Sumner is the Calhoun high school band director, assisted by
Gina Stump, who is also the Jr. High band director.
The band will travel to Spencer on Oct. 15th to attend the WV Black Walnut Festival Parade and to compete in the Black Walnut Band competition.
We would like to invite all the fans of the Red Devil Marching Band to come and cheer on the band as they compete.
Members of the band include, Saxophone, Allison Gumbarevic, Dylan Deweese and Danielle Richards. Trumpets, Cassie Nicholson, Cassandra Lamont and Mercedes Ferrell. Flute, Elle Webb and Ashley Richards.
Clarinets, Shawna Falls and Leigha Daniels. Percussion, Jon Collins, Alec Crichfield, Kameron Carder, Jarrett Nicholas, Dino Badalamenti and Eli Stump. Pit, Jeffery Miller and Allison Davis.
Flag Corp members are Daerra Stull, Amanda Booth, Madison Munson and Jessica McPherson. Majorettes are Sarah Lane, Kenadee Taylor, Kierstan Knicely, Miranda Patterson and Sidney Hipp. Field Commander is Chelsea Jones.
The Calhoun County Band Boosters and parents, and the directors of the Red Devil Marching Band would like to thank all those who support our band.

Twirler and majorette routines are taught by Lorraine Bailey. Flag routines are taught by Autumn Osborn, and Travis Deuly works with the percussion section, all are volunteer band members.
