MAN SHOT TO DEATH IN STAR CITY -
A man was shot and killed about 3 a.m. Saturday in Star City.
Star City Police said the shooting happened at Zen's Bar on University Avenue. It happened outside the bar, after an altercation inside.
Star City Police say Walter-Vincent Samuel Jr., 25, of Southfield Michigan, died from a wound sustained from the shooting.
The shooter fled the scene before police arrived.
Police say they have a suspect.
MAN SHOT DURING HOME INVASION - A Boone County man was shot but not critically injured from a gunshot wound after he allegedly tried to break into his former girlfriend's house.
Paul Conrad, 37, of Sylvester, broke into Debbie Bragg's house about 7 am Sunday, when her current boyfriend Robert Cain shot him with a shotgun.
Bragg had previously filed a domestic violence petition in Boone County Family Court where a protective order had been issued and served on Conrad.
Police said no charges will be filed against Cain at this time.
TWO TEENS SHOT WHILE HUNTING - Two teenagers are recovering after they were shot accidentally by another teen while hunting about 2 p.m. Saturday near Tornado.
A family member says Keith Holsopple and Austin Wade were both shot in the arm and both were taken to Thomas Memorial. Their injuries are not considered life threatening.
RAVENSWOOD MAN STABBED -
Police responded to a stabbing at the Laurel Commons Apartment Complex in Ravenswood about 7 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities said two men were fighting when one of them pulled a knife and stabbed the other in the leg.
One man is in the hospital and police have arrested 46 year old Stanley Hoskins and charged him with malicious wounding.
